arLabs Music DMCA & Copyright
Complaint Process

Welcome to the arLabs Music Copyright Compliance Center. Please read every section carefully before submitting a complaint.

Before Submitting a Complaint (DMCA Notice)

Before you submit a notice of copyright infringement, it is crucial that you consider the following:

1
Fair Use Exception

Ensure whether the material actually infringes your copyright or if it falls under Fair Use protection. If you are unsure whether the material infringes your rights, we strongly advise you to consult with legal counsel first.

2
Legal Consequences for False Claims

You may be held legally liable and sued for financial damages (including operational costs and attorney's fees) if you make false statements or claims that a material infringes your copyright.

3
Report Transparency

Your complaint notice may be forwarded to the user who uploaded the material, as well as to interested third parties. The use of this form does not waive arLabs Music's right to challenge claims that indicate an abuse of the DMCA process.

Steps to Submit a Complaint

Step 1 — Verify the Distributor

Ensure that the disputed material was indeed uploaded and distributed through the arLabs Music network. We have no control over, and cannot process takedowns for, content distributed by other aggregators or third-party services.

Step 2 — Direct Resolution Optional

Contact the user (artist or label) directly via their social media or business contacts as an initial attempt at resolution. Often, disputes regarding beat licenses, song samples, or collaboration misunderstandings can be resolved internally between you and the uploader.

Step 3 — Submit an Official Complaint

If the issue cannot be resolved directly with the user, please submit your official complaint to the arLabs Music Compliance Team by filling out our Copyright Dispute Form.

arLabs Music Action Policy Zero-Tolerance

In accordance with DMCA provisions and our internal Anti-Fraud policies, arLabs Music will investigate every report received. If an account is proven to have committed copyright infringement, we reserve the right to take decisive action, including:

Global Takedown

Issuing global takedown instructions to all our DSP partners.

Royalty Freeze

Permanently freezing and withholding royalty revenue generated from the disputed content.

Account Termination

Terminating the accounts of users who are proven to be repeat infringers.

While we will not share the technical details of our internal investigations with the reporting public, this procedure is designed to maintain an absolute balance: protecting the copyrights of legitimate creators while simultaneously protecting arLabs Music users from baseless and false takedown claims.
